At the beginning of the year, some people make resolutions to improve their health.
This is an interesting realization and one worth repeating every day.
Every day we are a new person.
Every day we make choices, hundreds if not thousands of choices.
When to get up, when to eat, when to go to work, when to stop at a red light, when to go to the market, when to walk, when to criticize the boss or the spouse…
It’s human. We are the result of our choices.
Recently, in the newspaper, I was reading an article about anti-cholesterol as a preventive measure?
Fortunately, there was a ? At the end of the title.
Based on the words of an American specialist, it encouraged healthy people to prevent heart disease by taking an anti-cholesterol medication.
When I read these words, I can`t help but think that this specialist wants us to choose what is good for him.
I can`t believe that a serious and honest specialist would think that real prevention is achieved by taking drugs with considerable and often dangerous side effects.
I wonder who benefits from the crime.
Someone else has already said: the bigger the lie, the more likely it is to be believed.
We are in a consumer society, a little crazy where stress is omnipresent.
The good news is that we are in a free society.
We still have the choice to choose what we eat, to move more, to manage our stress better.
That’s real prevention.
I know it’s easier said than done.
But I also know that with your participation and a good team, you can succeed in living better today.
This is what we wish you at the beginning of this year.
